John Snow
John Snow, hailing from Yorkshire, began his journey as an apprentice to Doctor Hardcastle and subsequently sent to Killingworth mine. There, he faced the harsh reality of cholera and felt powerless to help those afflicted.Determined to make a difference, he vowed to uncover the disease's transmission and find a cure. His quest led him to London, where he enrolled at the Hunterian School for Medicine, only to find that his rough northern accent and revolutionary ideas were often dismissed in a society firmly rooted in Miasma Theory.
